After being held out of the end zone for two straight weeks, LT exploded for a career-high 4 TDs Sunday–faking Jets cornerback Ty Law right out of his jock on a 25-yard scoring catch. Tomlinson is a fantasy players’ fantasy. He can do it all. Heading into the game, he had the same number of TD passes (three) as Jets quarterbacks. Sheesh. Still glad you took Peyton Manning with the No.1 pick in your draft?

One stinkin’ TD this season. One. Perhaps he’ll double that number by season’s end. The prototypical tight end is on pace to catch 56 passes; he had 102 last season. What gives? Trent Green is having an off year, for one. No one on the Chiefs is catching TDs, which may not change if they keep winning behind the running of Larry Johnson. Sadly, the title of best tight end has officially been handed over to San Diego’s Antonio Gates.

So much for splurging on a “Cadillac.” Maybe you took a late-round flier on the rookie out of Auburn, or were fortunate enough to snap him up after his 148-yard debut. Genius moves either way . . . until Week 4. Williams, the first player in NFL history to begin his career with three consecutive 100-yard efforts, has been held to 62 yards on 35 attempts in his last three games. “We’re in a slump right now,” Williams said. No, duh.
