Naperville Police Arrests for Oct. 4

The following items were taken from Naperville police reports and press releases. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.

• A 27-year-old man from Elgin was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and transportation or possession of open alcohol by a driver at 2:34 a.m. Oct. 4 at La Fox Avenue and South Route 59.
• A 30-year-old man from Montgomery was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of open alcohol by a passenger at 2:34 a.m. Oct. 4 at La Fox Avenue and South Route 59.
• A 59-year-old man from Naperville was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and having a blood alcohol count greater than 0.08 at 3:09 a.m. Oct. 4 in the 1900 block of Brookdale Road.
• A 32-year-old woman from Aurora was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving and driving without insurance at 4:50 a.m. Oct. 4 at 75th Street and Oxford Lane.
• A 37-year-old man from Lemont was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, having a blood alcohol count greater than 0.08, driving too fast for conditions or failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving with expired plates and driving without insurance at 7:54 p.m. Oct. 4 at East 75th Street and South Naper Boulevard.
