Since returning from 92,575 feet into Earth’s stratosphere, rapper Towkio hasn’t stopped to catch his breath — instead opting to take his talents to “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” Tuesday.
The artist performed “Symphony” from his major LP “WWW.” (released February 23). His excitement was apparent alongside singer Teddy Jackson, who sings the hook.
The song started out much more stripped before the beat dropped, riding a deep bass groove. Backed by a band featuring the Social Experiment’s Peter Cottontale, Lido, Greg Landfair (aka Stix) and Carter Lang (all of who worked on Chance the Rapper’s “Coloring Book”) — Towkio ran from the stage into the audience, giving a shout-out to God and Fallon before leading the crowd in arms-raised-over-head clapping as he danced on stage.
“Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on NBC.
