A 19-year-old Oak Forest man told police he was robbed at gunpoint before a marijuana deal in a parking lot of the Forest Hills apartment complex.
The victim said he only vaguely knew the gunman as a relative of another man he saw earlier on Jan. 17. The alleged offender announced he wanted to buy marijuana and the victim than allowed him to follow him to an apartment complex in the 5000 block of 159th Street in Oak Forest.
Once they arrived, the robber approached the victim’s car window, pointed a revolver at him and demanded “everything,”
The victim said he was able to get out of his car and run away but he dropped his cell phone in the process, which the gunman took and then fled the scene, according to police..
