Pet Bowl

Dig out your best bowling shirt: ALIVE Rescue’s 7th annual Pet Bowl is on the horizon.

The April 18 event, at Timber Lanes in Chicago, benefits the homeless animals of ALIVE Rescue. Tickets — $35 in advance or $45 at the door — get you bowling, shoes, a vegetarian food buffet and dessert, not to mention hours of pin-spilling conviviality.

There will be two shifts of bowling, a family bowl from 4-6 p.m., and an over-21 version from 9:15 p.m.-12:45 a.m. (Bumper bowling is available upon request for the 4-6 p.m. bowlers.) Also on the menu, a live auction, and everyone gets a gift bag to remember the night. Tickets available at http://tinyurl.com/k65lpre.
