Prediction: Dolphins 17, Jets 14
Comment: Ryan Tannehill is mediocre, but Geno Smith is awful. If the Dolphins can protect Tannehill and he’s able to deliver big plays, the Dolphins should win this rivalry game.

Prediction: Jets 20, Dolphins 16
Comment: The Dolphins have lost six of eight games and are doing so in spectacular fashion, having blown double-digit halftime leads to the Panthers and Patriots. The Jets’ offense is struggling, but they should win this game on defense. Also, the inclement weather favors the Jets.

Prediction: Dolphins 13, Jets 0
Comment: If the Dolphins can’t take advantage of the disaster the Jets have at quarterback in rookie Geno Smith, who looks totally overwhelmed, Jeff Ireland and Joe Philbin probably should be sent packing. Ryan Tannehill has 17 turnovers and 44 sacks in 452 dropbacks. Smith? In only 354 dropbacks, he has been sacked 37 times and spit up 22 turnovers.
