Police are investigating the deaths of four people found in a garage of a South Side home Friday.
Authorities said the bodies are believed to be of a teenage boy and girl and a man and woman. The home is in the 8500 block of South Saginaw Avenue.
A teenager who had been with the group Thursday night but later left called police after checking the South Chicago home for his friends, said police spokeswoman Monique Bond.
The group had apparently been drinking, said Assistant Deputy Supt. Dean Andrews.
“It seems accidental at this point,” he said.

Police said that a car was in the garage with the victims and that keys were still in the ignition. The garage door was closed and the car appeared to be out of gas, Bond said.
There were no signs of foul play, and police were conducting a death investigation, authorities said. The names of the victims were not released late Friday.
Neighbors said they saw the group drinking, smoking and talking Thursday night.
“I just saw them yesterday. They were just sitting out there talking, making us laugh,” said Adria Lyles, 12, who lives across the street.
Another neighbor, Anthony Reed, 36, said he heard music about 2 to 3 a.m. Friday.
Evelyn Williams, 54, who lived at the address where the bodies were found, said she believes one of the four victims was her 14-year-old son. Williams, a housekeeper at a retirement home, arrived at the residence about 6 p.m. Friday, crying and saying she wanted her son. She described her son as sweet and caring.
“He helped me fix things around the house, any old thing that needed fixing,” Williams said.
She said her son gave her earrings and a necklace for Mother’s Day, which was also her birthday. She said she worried about him growing up in a tough neighborhood and hanging out with older people.
Linda Cockroft, a friend of the Williams family, said the 14-year-old “loved his mom, you could tell.”
“He was just watching her to make sure she was all right,” she said. “You could see it in his eyes how much he loved her.”
