Like anybody else, Ike Barinholtz had lofty career goals when he was a kid growing up on Chicago’s North Side.
“I wanted to be the junior senator from Illinois,” the 29-year-old comedian told Armour & Co. “But this guy [Barack] Obama got in my way.”

Instead–after a stint in the CTA’s marketing department–Barinholtz landed what he calls a “really good gig” as one of the resident goofballs on Fox’s MADtv, where he has developed a killer Kevin Federline impersonation to Nicole Parker’s Britney Spears.
“Basically, now, whenever he does anything, I get 10 text messages and 30 e-mails,” said Barinholtz, who will channel K-Fed during a special Nov. 22 show at the Annoyance Theatre.
Barinholtz, who also co-wrote the Athenaeum Theatre’s “This Is Our Youth” starring John Barinholtz (his brother) and Rob Belushi (Jim’s son), says he will continue to milk his K-Fed impersonation. Especially now that Spears has dumped Federline.
“His shelf life is probably another good six months,” Barinholtz told us. “He’ll do `The Surreal Life,’ then he’ll hold up a liquor store. Then he’ll be on `Cops.'”
