Tom Brady
QB, Patriots
29 of 38 COMP/ATT 329 YARDS 2 TD 2 INT
Time to jump back on the Patriots’ bandwagon. They are on the verge of clinching a third straight AFC East title and fourth in five seasons, and the guy leading them there is Brady. Despite limping on a bum left leg, he did a little bit of everything–even throwing a block on a reverse. “Are you kidding me?” running back Corey Dillon said. “Oh, man, No. 12 is 12. … He’s a heck of a quarterback.” Fantasy owners take note: nearing the playoffs, Brady will be at his best.

Steven Jackson
RB, Rams
19 CARRIES 67 YARDS 0 TD
Jackson has run the Fantasy Island gamut this season, from best to worst and now somewhere in the middle. And his mediocre output arrives just in time for the fantasy playoffs. In his last five games he has scored only once and in four of those contests he has been held to 70 yards or less, with a low output of 6. Great. Stellar outings have been too far and few between for Jackson to be considered a reliable starter. If you’re still in it in your league, sit him.

Willis McGahee
RB, Bills
8 CARRIES 3 YARDS 0 TD
So many disasters to choose from in Week 14, but McGahee takes the cake. Sure, he was limited after first-half blow to the head, but this is more of a season-long gripe. With 13 rushing TDs last year, McGahee vaulted to the top of the many draft boards–only to drag down his fantasy owners. He has failed to run for 100 yards in five straight games and has gone seven games without a TD. He has four scores all season. Thanks, Willis.
