Have a ball . . . and help kids

A limited-edition football commemorating the 75th anniversary of the 1930 opening of Notre Dame Stadium may help Hannah & Friends, the non-profit foundation named for Hannah Margaret Weis, the 10-year-old daughter of Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis who is affected by global delays. Each of the 5,000 footballs produced will sell for $99, with $7.50 of the purchase price of each ball, up to $37,500 total, going to Hannah & Friends. The money raised will go toward the construction and operation of a farm in South Carolina, which will feature a petting zoo and riding program for kids affected by autism and global delays.
