The Barrington Village Board has approved a developer’s plans for an office complex on the east side of South Grove Avenue, south of the post office and Park Barrington subdivision.
Plans for Barrington Commerce Center call for four, two-story buildings on the 7-acre site and two detention ponds.
The project will be set back 103 feet from the subdivision and shielded by spruce trees on a berm, the builder’s spokesmen told trustees Monday.
Construction is expected to begin in June.
