Barbara Smith, host of the nationally syndicated television show “B. Smith with Style” that airs Saturdays at 5:30 a.m. on WMAQ-TV, is styling again.
This time the former model, turned designer, restaurateur and entrepreneur is adding to her bedding collection at Bed Bath & Beyond.
One of her newest quilts is Tribeca and is part of the Gramercy Collection.
“It has the kind of colors that both men and women like,” Smith says. “I’m known for designs that have color and vibrancy. There is something that will appeal to everyone.”
Also new from Smith are bee-shaped metal and rhinestone shower curtain hooks that look more like jewelry.
People will find her prices appealing as well. Queen-size quilts are $149 and window panels, $29 to $39.
Smith’s new looks come at a time when Bed Bath & Beyond is in the middle of its own expansion.
In December, the chain opened its third store in Chicago at 530 N. State St. You’ll find Smith’s Tunisian Nights bedding in one of the corner windows. Other Chicago stores are at: 1800 N.
