Bensenville trustees have given preliminary approval to an ordinance establishing a three-person Board of Local Improvements.
The action taken earlier this month will give the small panel the authority to approve recommendations from the village’s engineering staff, specifically for a new special assessment area.
Deputy Village Manager Jim Johnson said the board’s makeup has not yet been determined.
