The Barrington Park District, 235 Lions Drive, is offering the preschool class Storybook Treats for 3 1/2- to 5-year-olds from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. beginning Monday. The class, which will be held every Monday through Oct. 22, will teach preschoolers easy recipes for foods chosen from storybooks. Storybook Treats for 2- and 3-year-olds with a parent will run Fridays from Sept. 14 through Oct. 19 from 10:15 to 11 a.m. The cost is $40 for Park District members and $50 for non-members. Prospect, will hold its 10th annual Look Who’s Cooking charity event and celebrate its 20th anniversary at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Sheraton Arlington Park, 3400 W. Euclid Ave., Arlington Heights.
