New accreditation for rehab program

The Vocational Rehabilitation Program at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital has received a new accreditation that will allow the hospital to qualify for more funding sources.

The accreditation came from the Council on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, of Tucson, Ariz., a not-for-profit organization that develops standards to measure and improve the quality of rehabilitation programs.

Marianjoy is a 120-bed hospital in Wheaton and a division of the Marianjoy RehabLink, a network that manages more than 400 beds in the Chicago area.

The network provides inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services, including driver rehabilitation and return-to-work programs.
