A Lombard man has been charged with sexually abusing a 14-year-old female patient he met while working as a mental health counselor.
Alvaro Oliveros Jr., 25, of the 100 block of Collen Court, Lombard, is a former employee of Delta T. Group Temp Agency in Oak Brook who was assigned to work at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Center in Hoffman Estates.
DuPage County State’s Atty. Joseph Birkett said Thursday that, after the alleged abuse Monday, one of the victim’s parents became suspicious and contacted police, who forwarded the matter to the DuPage County Children’s Center for investigation.

Birkett said the alleged sexual contact occurred in Elmhurst, not at the hospital.
Bail was set Thursday at $500,000 for Oliveros, who remains in the DuPage County Jail charged with criminal sexual abuse and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
