Orland Park has opened its annual Summer Jobs for Youth Program and is taking applications from high school and college-age residents.
The program, now in its seventh year, has linked hundreds of businesses to more than 1,000 workers, said village spokesperson Patty Vlazny.
Prospective employers and applicants can find information and forms on the village’s Web site at www.orland-park.il.us/jobs, or at Village Hall, 14700 S. Ravinia Ave.
The village is also sponsoring a free job readiness seminar that will offer residents age 16 and older a review of interviewing and other job readiness skills. Registration is required for the programs, to be held at 4 p.m. April 25 and May 4. To register, call 708-403-6100.
