Louise G. Greenebaum, a former member of the Highland Park City Council, has announced plans to run for re-election as a trustee to the North Shore Sanitary District.

“I want to keep working to make the district as efficient and economical as possible,” Greenebaum said in a news release.
During her first term, Greenebaum said, the district has substantially cut operating costs with creative purchasing practices and better use of personnel and computers.
