Antioch 34, Lake Forest 6: Brandon Polheber had a pair of touchdown runs and Jeremy Grace rushed for 94 yards and a 25-yard TD for Antioch (4-3, 2-3) in the North Suburban. Aaron Towle’s 8-yard run accounted for the lone Lake Forest (3-4, 2-3) TD.
Johnsburg 35, Grant 0: Scott Smith rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown to lead Johnsburg (6-1) over Grant (2-5) in a non-conference matchup.
Libertyville 27, Warren 7: Brian Hamlett had 150 all-purpose yards, including a 91-yard kickoff return in the Wildcats’ 21-point second quarter, as Libertyville (5-2, 4-1) defeated Warren (2-5, 2-3) in the North Suburban. Matt Treutelaar also scored two touchdowns, on 5- and 9-yard runs in the second quarter.
Manley 32, Sullivan 6: Corey Sorrell (13 for 23) threw for 242 yards and two touchdowns and Ricardo Morrison rushed for 144 yards three more TDs as Manley (5-2, 3-1) led 26-0 at the half and rolled in the Public Northeast. Sorrell connected with Dashun Davis for a 73-yard scoring play and then with Morrison for 84 yards in the first quarter. Sullivan is 1-6, 1-3.
Zion Benton 35, North Chicago 6: Josh Adams rushed for 163 yards and three touchdowns as the Zee-Bees (5-2, 4-1) hammered North Chicago (0-7, 0-5) in the North Suburban. Adams had a pair of 37-yard runs and also scored from 40 yards out.
