The owner of a tavern in an unincorporated area near Crystal Lake has been indicted for selling cocaine three times to an undercover state narcotics agent last December.

William Vaughn, 39, of 2408 Country Ln., McHenry Township, has been indicted by a McHenry County grand jury for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and narcotics racketeering, authorities said.

McHenry County Assistant State’s Atty. John Gaffney said agents of the North Central Narcotics Task Force heard that Vaughn was dealing at his tavern, called Mick Henry’s, at 1625 Illinois Highway 176.

An agent went to the bar posing as a patron and made the buys from Vaughn last Dec. 7, 12 and 14, Gaffney said.
