A local man and two alleged accomplices from Carpentersville and Hoffman Estates have been indicted by a McHenry County grand jury on charges of buying crack cocaine at a Carpentersville apartment complex and selling it to an undercover agent in Woodstock.

David Ellis, 18, of 2434 Aspen St., Woodstock; Marcus Aurelias Williams, 19, of 1879 Jamestown Circle, Hoffman Estates; and Barrett Anthony Hurston, 19, of 1 Evergreen St., Carpentersville, were charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

The three are accused of buying an undisclosed amount of crack in Fox View Apartments on May 4 and then selling it to an undercover agent of the North Central Narcotics Task Force.

The Fox View complex was the scene of a raid May 17 by the task force that ended in the arrest of more than 30 people on charges of possession or sale of narcotics.
