The County Board committee charged with overseeing the project has decided it needs more time to sift through the numerous artifacts that have been submitted for sealing in the vault.
Last month, county officials and citizens gathered at the century-old courthouse in Geneva to look over the contents of that building’s cornerstone, which was sealed in 1891.
Committee chairman Nancy Wauchope said the dedication has been tentatively rescheduled for May 1995.
