Mark G. Trudgeon, 44, of Greenfield, Wis., was charged with criminal sexual abuse and indecent exposure after fondling a 15-year-old and exposing himself to two 12-year-olds, said Chief Robert Levitt of the Cary police.
Levitt said Trudgeon first exposed himself to the two 12-year-olds inside the TOP Video Store, 382 Northwest Highway, with several other patrons nearby.
Trudgeon then allegedly ran from the store and drove his car to near the Cary Subway Shop, 658 Northwest Highway, where he got out and grabbed the 15-year-old in the genital area while she was walking on the sidewalk, Levitt said.
Trudgeon fled after the second incident, but the victim and another 15-year-old girl gave police a description of the assailant and his car. Crystal Lake police arrested Trudgeon later, Levitt said.
Trudgeon is being held on $80,000 bond.
