The county’s proposed 1994 budget will get more talk before any action is taken toward final approval.
The County Board’s Finance Committee opted Monday to delay recommendation until after the proposed $279 million budget is aired during a Committee of the Whole meeting Tuesday in the County Board room in Wheaton.

The committee recessed until after that meeting and is scheduled to forward its recommendations to the full board in time for its Nov. 23 meeting.
The proposed budget holds the line at 1993 spending levels for most departments.
The committee took no action on Health and Human Services Committee Chairman Robert Schroeder’s call to reinstate $375,000 trimmed from the human-services budget. Much of those funds are used to transport disabled workers to and from their jobs.
Schroeder said he would call for reinstating those funds in committee and when the board considers the budget.
The budget process must be completed by Nov. 30.
