A potpourri of Lauren products-bedding, throw pillows, fabrics, linens-all with floral patterns, was set up in a one-day display for the
presentation.
The Lauren collection has more than 40 new patterns, from very bright reds to more subdued browns and sepias. Prices ranged from $330 for a handstitched, queen-size quilt to $27 (each) for napkins in a flag/flowers pattern.
The sneak preview complemented the trend slide show presented by HG, which emphasized the use of floral patterns and fresh flowers in the home.
”That`s too much,” murmured one woman in the audience, viewing a slide of a bedroom filled with pink roses. Another view of a living room with muted floral designs won her approval, however: ”Now that`s real cozy.”
