Floral designer Robert Neri has taught everyone from lawyers to retirees how to improve on Mother Nature.
Neri teaches floral design at his Robert`s Floral Design Studio, 2857 W. Belmont Ave., but his students are not interested in turning pro. ”Instead, they want to know how they can use flowers in their houses and what arrangements will work best as gifts.”
Neri, whose background is in commercial art, found teaching a delightful outgrowth of his business. His classes are held every Tuesday, and next Sunday he`ll be holding ”English Country Christmas” holiday workshops.
Students will use flowers and fresh greens (boxwood, white pine and holly), and the fee is $30 per session. Call 312-463-7427.
