A 28-year-old local woman has been indicted on a reckless homicide charge in the death of a 44-year-old Wisconsin man.
An arrest warrant with a $75,000 bond was issued Wednesday for Rosalie Norton, 28, of 28 S. Channel St., by Lake County Judge John Goshgarian.
On May 17, Norton, who was driving north on U.S. Highway 41, turned left onto Stearns School Road and hit Charles Kuchan of Delafield, Wis., who was southbound on a motorcycle, police say.
The charges are a result of Norton`s failure to yield the right of way and driving while under the influence of alcohol, authorities say.
