Stacy Earl

Stacy Earl (RCA) (STAR)(STAR)

Not so much bad as familiar, this Boston native`s debut clings so closely to the Paula Abdul formula that a more appropriate title might have been

”Forever Your Earl.” Synthesized dance tracks and sugary lyrics sung at a breathy high-pitch abound. Only the sax solo that winds through ”Can`t Go On This Way,” and the lively bassline underneath ”Love Me All Up” hint at something original.
