Activist, teacher and rock mom Mary Morello has died at 102: ‘An inspiration’

Mary Morello, an international activist and retired Libertyville High School teacher who was the mom and biggest booster of Tom Morello, has died at 102, her son announced.

Signs at the demonstration outside the Mundelein Village Hall voiced support in June for the Love family and called for police accountability. Mary Alice Love was shot and killed May 11 by a Mundelein police officer.
