Gary breaks ground on new Brothers’ Keeper shelter

On Friday, Gary officials broke ground and shelter representatives broke ground on a $3 million facility in the 2100 block of Washington Street.

Animals, rides are the highlight of opening day at the Lake County Fair

The Lake County Fair will go from Aug. 7 through the 16. Admission is $8 for adults, and children younger than 10 years old get in for free.

Hobart approves $237K donation to humane society

The Humane Society of Hobart will soon receive $237,000 after the city's board of public works approved a donation agreement Wednesday.

Hobart board of works passes traffic plan for data center site

Gary council approves short-term rental property in city

Indiana AG suing Merrillville for opposing potential ICE facility
