In the Discovery Room, visitors can touch a 100-million-year-old-fossil and walk on dinosaur tracks. In June, the Museum offers free admission for all visitors on Thursday afternoons from 2 to 5 p.m.; and on Aug. 29, the museum holds its annual "Summer's Last Roar" from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free for all, and activities include special kids' programs and exhibits, along with puppet shows at 11 a.m. and noon. peabody.yale.edu.
